After graduating in the Spring of 2020, she gained experience in public relations & digital marketing with agencies & small businesses before continuing her formal education at University of Southern California. Pursuing a Masters of Arts in Specialized Journalism, Karin has honed her writing, audio production and web design & development skills and merged her expertise in research, marketing and social advocacy with new approaches to storytelling & media making.
Outside of writing, Karin is an avid researcher, glued to topics including history, psychology, philosophy, political science, theology, and modern media - anything that informs our culture and society. She is also a lifelong lover of entertainment, music, fashion design and performing arts. When she's not reading, writing & researching, she is singing, sewing, practicing guitar & piano, and most recently, returning to the stage as a musical theatre performer.
