About
Karin Naragon is a multi-media journalist, digital marketing specialist, and intersectional advocate for media literacy, human sexuality, and women's issues.
Born and raised in the Silicon Valley, Karin is fascinated by emerging technology, social innovation and between social sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Loyola University Chicago, where she studied media ethics, communication for social change, and Women & Gender Studies. She earned her Master of Arts in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California, honing her skills in writing, audio production, and web design.
With experience across digital marketing, public relations, branding, and media production, Karin brings strategic expertise to nonprofits, small businesses, and individuals working toward social impact. She specializes in digital strategy, content creation, brand development, and community engagement—translating complex research and identity theory into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
Outside of work, Karin is an avid researcher exploring history, psychology, philosophy, political science, and modern media. She's also a lifelong lover of the arts—including singing, sewing, playing guitar & piano, hair & makeup design, and performing in musical theatre.

After graduating in the Spring of 2020, she gained experience in public relations & digital marketing with agencies & small businesses before continuing her formal education at University of Southern California. Pursuing a Masters of Arts in Specialized Journalism, Karin has honed her writing, audio production and web design & development skills and merged her expertise in research, marketing and social advocacy with new approaches to storytelling & media making.
Outside of writing, Karin is an avid researcher, glued to topics including history, psychology, philosophy, political science, theology, and modern media - anything that informs our culture and society. She is also a lifelong lover of entertainment, music, fashion design and performing arts. When she's not reading, writing & researching, she is singing, sewing, practicing guitar & piano, and most recently, returning to the stage as a musical theatre performer.
